What motivated you to apply to AVALES Wilhelm AG?
During my psychology studies at the University of Zurich, I developed a great interest in issues related to work and organizational psychology. It was clear to me early on that I wanted to work in the field of assessment centers after completing my studies.
Through LinkedIn, I became aware of the role of Senior Consultant and was immediately captivated by it. I particularly appreciate the scope for action and creativity in developing the range of services. Another important criterion for me was that my employer is a certified member of Swiss Assessment. Fortunately, AVALES Wilhelm AG was successfully recertified in the summer of 2023, ensuring that our assessments meet the highest scientific standards. Since I also immediately got along well with the entire team on an interpersonal level, I didn't hesitate for a moment and submitted my application. I am grateful to have been given the opportunity to pursue an extremely meaningful role at AVALES Wilhelm AG.
What connects you with the HR consulting industry?
I found my entry into the industry as an active sourcer and recruiter. This allowed me to gain experience in the entire recruitment process, from initial candidate approach to presenting personnel dossiers to selection committees. This enables me to provide holistic advice and consider the individual needs of all stakeholders involved.
I firmly believe that employees are the most valuable asset of companies and that assessment centers provide great value to our clients. Moreover, they give candidates the opportunity to reflect on their personal qualities, strengths, and areas for development.
How would you describe your key skills and experiences that you would like to bring to your new role?
Over my 20-year professional career, I have acquired a broad knowledge of business administration and have repeatedly experienced the impact that personnel changes can have on performance and work atmosphere. Therefore, I see it as my core task to identify the right people for the right positions. I always place great importance on ensuring not only the technical suitability but also the cultural fit between applicants and clients. Additionally, I possess keen observational skills and an analytical mindset. These abilities allow me to make precise, concise, and individualized statements. They also assist me in writing informative assessment reports and conducting targeted, resource-oriented feedback discussions.
How would you characterize yourself?
I would describe myself as versatile, affable, humorous, and helpful. I enjoy playing the role of a host and strive to create a pleasant atmosphere both professionally and personally, where those around me feel comfortable. I value variety and balance in life - I can find enjoyment in action-packed adventures with a large group, as well as engaging in a cozy dialogue over a glass of wine.
Where can you be found in your free time?
In general, I enjoy spending time in nature and going on extensive hikes. You can often find me in the water as well - whether it's in the swimming pool to stay fit or exploring the impressive underwater worlds while scuba diving. If the weather doesn't cooperate, you may occasionally find me at home in my racing simulator, where I compare my driving skills with pilots from all over Europe.
